Murray Mizell 86 of Maryville went home October 16, 2005. He was a beloved member of Unity Baptist Church. He was a decorated member of the Army Air Corps serving Three years over seas. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Edwina & EL Mizell, Brother: Edward Mizell, Son: Johnny Cather. He is survived by his Wife of Fifty Three Years: Mona Faye Mizell, Sons & Daughters in law: Arlen & Suzanna Mizell, Robin Mizell, Charlotte Glass, Curtis & Mary Sue Mizell, Daughter & Son in law: Connie & Curtis Hardee, Sons: Danny,and Daniel Mizell, Daughter: Amber Mizell, Grandchildren: Trista Barrett, Mindy Mizell, Fallon Hardee, Great Grandchildren: Nicholas, Olivia, Tyler, Tanner, Shea Shea and Chelesa, Special friend: Jim Allen, and a host of other friends. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday October 18, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Pastor Dan Bartl Officiating, burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa with full Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family and friends will meet at Unity Baptist Church for a meal following the burial. Carl E. Cole, 73, of South Knoxville passed away Friday Oct. 14, 2005. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and retired 10 years from the Knoxville City Fire Department.

Edward Michael Zukowski 82 of Louisville formerly of Kingston died Saturday October 15, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a Decorated WW II Veteran of the US Marine Corps serving in the South Pacific were he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Starr. He was a Mason, a Sunday School Teacher, and Usher. He is survived by his Wife: Jean Ridge Zukowski, Children Dian & Ed Nabors of Knoxville, Mike & Ruth Zukowski of Kingston, Step-Daughter & Husband: Nancy & Ken Barnhart of Sevierville, Grandchildren: Doug Zukowski, Beth Jenkins, Kyri Zukowski, Jen Rosbergen, Beth Western, Four Great-Grandchildren. Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday October 17, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. Clarence Byrd officiating.
