Dear Rose,
I am writing about the person who complained about the co-worker that had bad breath. There is one important thing that you didn’t mention, that bad breath can be the symptom of a medical disorder such as a local infection in the respiratory tract, chronic sinusitis, postnasal drip, chronic bronchitis, diabetes, gastrointestinal disturbance, liver or kidney ailment. If the co-worker’s dentist determines that his mouth is healthy, then the person can be referred to his family doctor or a specialist to determine the cause of his bad breath.
Thinking harder
Dear Thinking,
Thank you so much for responding with the above information. It may truly help someone. Keep writing!
Dear Rose,
I am going through a divorce after being married 15 years. My friends tell me that I need to get out of the house, but I really don’t feel like doing much of anything once I get home from work. I know that they are just concerned, but that doesn’t always help. How do I get them off my back? I just want to be quiet and get through this.
Unwanted wife
Dear Unwanted,
Sounds like your friends care. Maybe you can make a deal. Tell them you will go out with them one night if they will let you be the rest of the time. If that still bothers you, just be firm and sweetly keep telling them that you do not want to go, but thanks for the offer.
