Sevierville Police (SPD) was notified Thursday, February 17, of an attempted burglary of an ATM in the Governor’s Crossing mall. SPD Officer Steve Ford responded to Governor’s Crossing.According to SPD Detective Robbie Ball, it appears that a person or persons entered the ATM area through the mall roof and attempted to break into the ATM. The initial investigation indicates that the burglary attempt was made sometime overnight.
Sevier County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is requested to contact Detective Ball at 865-453-5506.
