Two arrested in murder

Two men have been arrested by the Maryville Police Department in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Michael Martin Johnson. Johnson was found last Saturday under a crawl space at his home, according to reports he had been shot twice.
In just a week the Maryville Police arrested the two suspects in the first homicide of the year for the city. Gerald Jenkins is charged with first-degree murder, also arrested was Tommy Presley, who has been charged with accessory to murder.
Police are still unsure of a motive in the case. Johnson was reported missing by his family last Wednesday night and found Saturday by Maryville Police.

Former Dixie Stampede worker still on the loose

Police are still looking for the former Dixie Stampede worker that’s charged with fondling two young girls and an eleven-year-old boy all of whom are workers at the attraction as performers.
More information has come out about Armando Gonzales, who according to reports touched two girl performers and the boy. According to reports Gonzales was fired after the Pigeon Forge Police charged him after the latest allegations. Dixie Stampede did an internal investigation into the matter, and determined Gonzales should be suspended and told to vacate the premises. Before the police could arrest him, he fled and the police are still looking for him.
Gonzales has worked at Dixie Stampede for two and one half years, and according to reports had been cleared in another allegation where he supposedly watched some of the female performers get dressed.
