You have the power to make a huge difference in your community. If you donate blood, your single donation can save up to three lives! MEDIC Regional Blood Center needs to collect 350 units of blood each and every day in order to fulfill hospital orders. You can make a significance difference by donating blood. Please stop by our donor center or visit a mobile site for your convenience.
On December 4, the Lowe’s Home Center, at 610 Winfield Dunn Parkway, will host the mobile unit for MEDIC from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
By donating blood, you are covered under MEDIC’S Family Blood Coverage Program. Family coverage means that a pint of blood donated to the MEDIC Regional Blood Center will ensure your family (IRS Dependents) does not have to pay blood supply processing fees at any hospital in the U.S.
Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh more than 110 lbs, and have positive identification. Donors will receive a t-shirt, free cholesterol screening (no fasting required).
