Those looking to help with the situations throughout the world and serve, protect or defend your local community now have a place to go.
The U.S. Disaster Relief Command, (USDRC), needs those that want to help our great nation. FEMA, Red Cross, Fire Departments, Law enforcement agencies, rescue squads, the military and many other emergency response agencies are forever short on volunteers during crisis or disaster.
The USDRC offsets these shortages by establishing first responder units across the United States with highly trained volunteers that can make a difference in the event of a crisis or disaster.
The USDRC needs volunteers and wholeheartedly encourages anyone that would like to be a part of this organization and make a difference in the lives of those afflicted by a disaster.
If you are interested in joining the USDRC you can call them at 439-8108 or visit their website at www.usdrc.us. The national headquarters is located in Gatilinburg.
