A three-car accident at approximately 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 27 involved three vehicles, tying up traffic on the parkway and sending a 61-year-old male victim to the hospital. The accident happened around Community Drive on the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. The Sevier County Ambulance Service, the Pigeon Forge Police Department and the Pigeon Forge Fire Department all responded to the scene.
Micky Brunt of the Pigeon Forge Police Department explained that a Tracker came across the left lane and clipped a Dodge, that put the Tracker into a spin, it then flipped on its side and slid for quite a distance then turned over, coming to rest on its top, hitting the Dodge again.
The accident is currently under investigation.
