Police continue search for suspect

An investigation is ongoing on the 10 stolen newspaper racks found at a residence at a mobile home park in Seymour.
The man living at the residence was not at home when the racks were found. The man wanted for questioning in the case had not been located as of Monday.
Two of the racks found in the mobile home belonged to The Herald Newspapers.
“Stuff like this doesn’t happen very often around here,” said Larry Helton, owner of the mobile home park and a used car dealership off Chapman Highway.
“We’ve been here for a long time and other than a few minor isolated incidents here and there, we haven’t had any problems.”
Detective Matthew Cubberly of the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident. The man that police are looking for questioning is reportedly driving a Maroon Dodge conversion van owned by Helton.
