NASCAR fans will be ready to button down the flaps and turn over the ignition as NASCAR SpeedPark, the local attraction with a need for speed, welcomes the driver of the Ford Taurus #38 Elliott Sadler.
Sadler will appear at the popular attraction on Tuesday, June 1, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Sadler’s primary sponsor, M&M’s, will have characters on hand to distribute free candy to the crowd, and Sadler will be available for autographs, racing against fans at the track, and to answer questions about life in the fastest of lanes.
Local media will be on hand to conduct interviews with the popular driver, who last year raised more than $45,000 for the Autism Society of America (ASA) through his “M&M’s Hoops for Hope” basketball game.
This year, his Race for Hope event was held May 25 at the NASCAR SpeedPark at Concord Mills to benefit the ASA as well as Kyle Petty’s Victory Junction Camp.
