Joseph Karl, Publisher of The Herald Newspapers, was recently honored by the Seymour Community for the publication’s involvement in community affairs. Cited in particular was the annual Fourth of July Seymour Skyburst Celebration sponsored by the publication.
“It’s an honor to be singled out for this award,” Karl said, “And we are proud to sponsor the Independance Day celebration as a way of giving back to the Seymour community.”
The Herald Newspapers sponsors the annual fireworks display, with an attendance at the last event of over seven thousand.
