Bible Fellowship in Seymour
is hosting a party for VBS Directors in the East TN area. This party will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Bible Fellowship Church from 9 a.m. to Noon. Group Publishing coordinates this event, and a VBS Specialist from Group Publishing will be present to facilitate. For those that attended last year, it was helpful and a lot of fun, especially for the churches just getting started using Group’s VBS. Information: Friday, March 12th, Westside UU Church’s Blessed Bean Coffeehouse will present an evening of refreshments, games, conversation and LIVE music by acoustic guitar master Chris Brown. Chris performs patterns and arrangements which may have been thought unreachable on the acoustic guitar and it is a real treat to see and hear him perform. Southern Appalachia Railway Museum of Oak Ridge
Museum Schedules Open House, Photo Day, on Saturday, March 27, the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum of Oak Ridge has scheduled their 6th Annual Railroad Photography Day and Open House for their operation at the East Tennessee Technology Park. The day will feature a display of much of the Museum’s equipment as well as a special train ride for photographers. Activities begin at 9am and will end at 5pm. Cost of the all-day event is $25. Funds from the event go to helping the Museum restore their collection of area railroad equipment. Information on the event can be at SARM, P.O. Box 5870, Knoxville, TN 37928. Tickets are available by mail or at the train the day of the trip.
