Tennessee (12-4) gave itself a play-off present Sunday with a 33-13 win over Tampa Bay. The Bucs have never won in Adelphi and they never got a chance in this visit. The Titan defense picked off four passes and sacked Brad Johnson twice with an effort that held the defending Super Bowl Champions to 273 yards. Tampa Bay is the first team defending champ to have a losing record since the 1999 season.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher said McNair could have played, but he chose to avoid risking another injury to a quarterback who already has a strained right calf and a sprained left ankle with a cracked bone spur. McNair played last week at Houston but has not practiced for three straight weeks.
Tennessee needed a Houston win over the Colts to repeat as AFC South Champions. Indianapolis came up with a late kick that shot down those hopes but the Titans are still a wild-card and on their way to Baltimore. The Ravens own a five game win streak over Tennessee and have been victorious in six of the last seven meetings.
