Major construction means major business

The turn lane additions on Chapman Highway have been pending for years, and this year construction began on the touted boon to area businesses.
The turn lane will mean safer streets for you and your family, as well as increased revenue for businesses along the newly striped section of the highway.
Until the construction is completed, however, motorists can expect occasional delays and businesses will have to contend with reduced access in some cases from the heavily-traveled Chapman Highway.
Blalock Construction, the company contracted to complete the turn lane addition, is working very hard to minimize any traffic obstruction and delays to motorists, by completing work during off-peak hours and coordinating construction efforts to alleviate negative impact to businesses.
In the year ahead, the construction should be completed, and residents, visitors, and businesses should begin to reap the benefits of the new construction.
