Sevierville Police arrested a third suspect in connection with a recent string of downtown burglaries on Thursday, September 4.
Mickey Ramsey, 27 years old from Sevierville, TN, has been charged with 12 counts of burglary and one count of aggravated burglary  Additional charges are pending.
According to Criminal Investigations Division Detective Eric Ramsey, SPD was contacted early Thursday morning by the Baxter, TN, Police Depart-ment, who had Mickey Ramsey in custody. A Baxter officer arrested Ramsey, after a routine check showed that he was wanted by SPD.
Sevier County Sheriff’s Depart-ment personnel transported Ramsey back to Sevierville late Thursday afternoon. He is being held at the Sevier County Jail on an $750,000 bond.
Mickey Ramsey is the brother of Michael Ramsey and Jay Ramsey. Police arrested Michael Ramsey and Jay Ramsey on August 13, 2003. Michael Ramsey has been charged with 12 counts of burglary; Jay Ramsey was charged with one count of theft.
Over $37,000.00 in allegedly stolen property has been recovered from burglaries in the downtown Sevierville area. The property has been linked to seventeen business burglaries that have occurred since June 1, 2003.
