R. Joe Clark, Special Agent in Charge of the Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man responsible for the robbery of the First National Bank at 5235 Highway 321 North in Lenoir City, Tennessee. The robbery occurred shortly before noon on Wednesday September 3, allegedly by a lone white male. 
According to witnesses, the robber entered the bank and produced a handgun before demanding money from a teller. The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” to 6”, weighing between 175 and 200 pounds, in his twenties, with short black hair, light mustache, wearing a gray tee-shirt with the American flag on the front and blue jean shorts. He was last seen leaving the bank on foot.
Anyone having information concerning this robbery should call the FBI at (865) 544-0751 or the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office at (865) 986-9081.
