Pigeon Forge’s award-winning show, Country Tonite, hit a rare milestone September 5th at 8 p.m. when it performed its 3,000th show at the Country Tonite Theatre. To help celebrate this illustrious run, the cast and crew of Country Tonite have invited all Sevier County residents to see the show at the reduced price of $3.00. The money raised this weekend will benefit the Sevier County United Way.
The high-energy variety show has proven that the celebration of country music sells itself when there is a combination of quality and class with great singing, dancing, comedy, gospel and an excellent cast.
Laurie Taylor, Director of Sales & Marketing says, “It has been a lot of work but definitely worth it and I am looking forward to our next 3,000 shows. Sevier County has supported Country Tonite since we opened in 1997, so we are offering all Sevier County residents the opportunity to see our show this weekend for only $3.00. We will have Country Tonite door prizes to give away at each show and our goal is to raise $3,000 for the United Way of Sevier County.”
Comedian Chan Mullinax, Bubba the Redneck Ranger, who has been with the Show since its debut in Pigeon Forge in 1997, said “Time does fly when you are having fun, I can’t believe we are already going to be doing our 3000th show!”
