Scholarships in the amount of five hundred dollars are available to students attending Walters State who plan to work in the hotel and restaurant management or culinary arts fields. The Hospitality Scholarship Committee at Walters State is accepting scholarship applications through Aug. 6 from full-time Walters State students or students who have applied for admission this fall. Students must be hotel and restaurant management or culinary arts majors to be eligible for the scholarship.
Preference will be given to family members of hospitality industry employees or to individuals with recommendations submitted by members of the Pigeon Forge or Sevierville lodging associations.
