Just wanted to say “Thanks” for the great article you wrote about “Cobblers…More Than Just Desserts” in your weekly newspaper, dated June 18th to June 24th, 2003. We’ve had a lot of positive response from it and for that we are very grateful. I believe that we have been in need of a well written and informative newspaper that keeps its “Finger on the Pulse” of not only the region, but also the people that make it up – newcomers as well as old-timers.
Kudos to the whole Smoky Mountain Herald staff for a job well done. Keep up the good work! We wish you great success in your endeavor!
