About fifteen women turned out for the rape defense class held at the Tennessee Martial Arts Academy in Seymour. This is the first seminar held by the co-owner Melissa Garner. The first class was free to the public. If women want to continue the training they can sign up for an additional ten weeks for $30. “We plan to continue having the self defense seminars based on the great response to this one,” stated Garner.
