The Tigers swept and the Lady Tigers lost a close one on the courts to J. Frank White Academy. The PFHS boys swept their match, taking wins by Trey Barton (8-6), Pratik Kansara (8-4), John Cave (8-5) and Rory Bristol (8-1) in singles. Barton and Cave teamed up for a 8-6 doubles win and Kansura and Bristol netted a 9-7 victory. Two singles matches and a doubles match were forfeit wins.
The Lady Tigers played close going to the tie breaker in the deciding doubles match. Pigeon Forge picking up singles wins from Brittany King (8-4) and Cassandra Lavoro (8-2) in singles. Down 2-4 the girls won the first two doubles matches, King and Bristol combined for an 8-2 win while Chasidy Peraul and Kriston Smith won 7-5. The match tied 4-4, J. Frank White won the tie breaker in third seed doubles 7-6 to prevail.
