“Before Night Falls” was the theme for Seymour Community Christian School’s homecoming activities on Tuesday, January 21. Six lovely ladies were presented as candidates for homecoming princess. They were: 7th graders, Miss Elizabeth Hammack and Miss Leah Rauhuff, 8th graders: Miss Sara Troutman and Miss Miranda Price; and 9th graders, Miss Charity Boling and Miss Maria Costner. The reigning princess, Miss Hannah Johnson, crowned Miss Sara Troutman as this year’s princess. Sara is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Scottie Troutman. The first runner up was Miss Charity Boling.
The lovely queen candidates were: 10th grader, Miss Crystal Baxter; 11lth graders, Miss Lauran Matthews and Miss Ashley Ownby; and 12th graders, Miss Amanda Clark, Miss Jessica Huey, Miss Amanda King, and Miss Lydia Rauhuff. The reigning queen, Miss Carrie Schultz, crowned Miss Jessica Huey as this year’s queen. Jessica was escorted by Nathan Johnson. She is the daughter of Mrs. Carla Huey. Miss Lydia Rauhuff was the 1st runner up.
