Seymour High School held their Winter Festival Monday evening for the Fine arts program. The event helped to raise money for the Judy Wade Performing Arts Scholarship. Judy Wade was the drama teacher at Seymour High School for 30 years. The scholarship was named in her honor. The scholarship goes to graduating seniors. Each year $1,000 is placed in the scholarship and is then divided between the applicants who show a need for the assistance as well as determination. The ticket price for the event was $5.
