Scott Davis has been hired as Vice President – Bank Information Systems for Mountain National Bank. Davis who has a BS in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University was most recently employed by Tennessee Valley Title Insurance Co. as Business Manager and Marketing Director. He has over twenty-five years experience in the financial industry. He is a graduate of the Institute of Financial Education for Executive Development at the University of Georgia and an Honor graduate of Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University. Davis and his wife, Ann reside in Maryville.
Elaine Ely has been hired as Vice President – Operations for Mountain National Bank. Ely holds a B.S. Degree in Organizational Management from Tusculum College; she is a graduate of the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University and was most recently employed by Tennessee State Bank as Executive Vice President and Cashier. Ely is a member of the Great Smoky Mountains Church of Christ, Former Director and Secretary of the Gatlinburg Scottish Festival and Games. She has served locally as a volunteer with Junior Achievement and SafeSpace. She is currently on the Sevier County Advisory Committee with the Girl Scouts of Tanasi Council, Inc. Ely resides in Sevierville.
Lindie Karow – Mountain National Bank announced that Lindie Karow, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. She is Branch Manager of the Gatlinburg Offices of MNB. Karow has been with Mountain National Bank since April, 2000. Karow has over 9 years banking experience. She was previously with BankFirst (First National Bank of Gatlinburg) serving three years as Customer Service Representative and then moving to Merchant Card Specialist. She is a graduate of Sevier County High School and has been involved in the United Way Campaign with MNB. She and her husband, James, have one son, Conner.
Vickie Gann – Mountain National Bank announced that Vice President Gann has been named Training Officer beginning January 1, 2003. Gann has been with Mountain National Bank since August 1998. She was previously in charge of Operations for MNB. Prior to Mountain National Bank, she was with BankFirst formerly First National Bank of Gatlinburg, where she held the positions of Training Officer, Operations Manager and BankCard Specialist. Gann resides in the Kodak Community. Vickie has most recently been active in the Junior Achievement/PEP program at Sevier County High School. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Vickie has a thirteen-year-old son, Jordan.
