Bertha Elvoria Trentham
Age 96, of Pigeon Forge went home to be with Jesus and her loved ones Sunday, November 17, 2002 at Ft. Sanders Sevier Medical Center in Sevierville. Mrs. Trentham was a member of the Oldham Creek Baptist Church. Her husband, Dillard Trentham; parents, William and Rachel Williams Wilson; brothers, Eli and Misher Wilson; sisters, Minnie and Sarah Trentham preceded Bertha in death. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Maples, Marie Cook and husband, Burl; grand daughter, Patricia Maples and husband, Dwight; great grand children, Hannah Maples and Robert Craig Maples; sister, Roxie Wilson. Besides the immediate family, special friends, Diane Whaley, Nancy Ursprung and many other relatives and a host of friends whose lives have been touched by Bertha will miss Bertha. Services were Tuesday, November 19 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donnie Jester and Rev. Scott Andrews officiating. Interment was Wednesday, November 20 at Smokey Mountain Memory Gardens. The family received friends Tuesday, November 19 at Rawlings Funeral Home.

Age 65 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2002 after a short battle with cancer. Well known Knoxville businessman and manager of American General Finance Company for 32 years. Preceded in death by father, Elbert Monroe of Lafollette and son, James David of Knoxville. Survived by wife, Judith (Billie) of Seymour; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sherrie and granddaughter, Katie Sharp of Huntsville, Alabama; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Mike and granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emily Pollard of Seymour; mother, Mary Lou Sharp of Knoxville; sister, Judy
Kirkpatrick of Clinton; brother, Hugh Sharp of Knoxville; and devoted
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Shirley Weltner of Seymour.
Family and friends met on Saturday at Highland South Cemetery, for
graveside services with Rev. Eric Geary officiating. The family received friends from on Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
