Pigeon Forge, Tennessee -The Second Annual Winterfestival of Trees will be celebrated Tuesday, November 26 through Sunday, December 1 at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center.
Winterfestival of Trees enhances the holiday season with Yuletide festivities that will impress even Old Kris Kringle himself. The six-day event features lighted festive Christmas trees decorated by area businesses, which set the stage for the entire event. All proceeds from the event go to East Tennessee Charities.
The events present handcrafted gift items, breakfast with Santa Claus, a Winterfestival Beauty Pageant, holiday music, and Winterfestival of Trees Gala.
“This is the time of the year to choose to give to the needs of people. It is not only our obligation but our privilege to help those who need a hand,” said Karl Lewanski, executive director of United Way for Cocke County. “The trees are beautiful and the enjoyment of that sight along with the music is a wonderful thing,” added Lewanski.
