The Seymour Eagles and Lady Eagles’ basketball squads will host basketball teams from seven other East Tennessee high schools in the annual Seymour High School Thanksgiving Tournament.
The hoop’s action started Monday afternoon and will last until the boys’ championship game, Saturday evening at 8:30. There will be no games played on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day).
The tournaments’ first round games were held on Monday and Tuesday with the semi-final game’s being played on Wednesday and Friday.
Consolation games will be played Saturday morning to decide the third, fourth and fifth place teams. The girls’ championship will be decided at 6 p.m. Saturday and the boys’ championship game will be played immediately after the girls’ game.
