Knoxville, TN – First Security Group, Inc. (FSG), a multi-bank holding company based in Chattanooga, has recently added Tim Bush to its senior management team in Knoxville. Mr. Bush will serve as the chief lending officer and will oversee the commercial and corporate banking unit.
“Tim’s knowledge, management skills, and business development abilities will be an asset to our local banking operations,” said Monty Montgomery, FSG’s chief operating officer. “We are confident his leadership and experience will add immediate depth to our management team in Knoxville. Plus, he adds a tremendous amount of local expertise and strong community ties in both Sevier and Knox Counties.”
Mr. Bush is a seasoned banker with more than 15 years of experience in the East Tennessee area. He previously served as the Regional President for SunTrust Bank of Sevier County. Bush currently serves on the board of the Sevier County Economic Development Board and is a member of the Sevierville noonday Rotary Club. He is Past President and current Board member of the Knoxville Quarterback Club, a member of Leadership Sevier, coach of Seymour Pee Wee football team and 6th grade boy’s basketball team, and a deacon at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Seymour.
