The second graders of Seymour Community Christian School recently honored their Pastors as part of Pastors Appreciation Month. They invited their pastors to a luncheon prepared by the students’ mothers. The pastors received a bookmark and a picture of the class magnet. The children sat with their pastors during lunch. After the meal, they read to them, sang, and recited Bible verses. They also had their pictures made with their pastor, which they later sent with a thank you to them. The children and the pastors had a wonderful time. Mrs. Linda Williams, the teacher, enjoyed watching the interaction between the pastors and the students. She would like to thank the mothers for the delicious meal and the pastors for taking the time from their busy schedule to make this day so special for the students.
