Tennessee State Bank (TSB) took a big step forward toward its plan to bring “hometown banking” to Kodak. The new Kodak location at 3307 Winfield Dunn Parkway, next to the Thomas-Hill-Burgin Chrysler dealership, will be the banks tenth branch office.
“Construction began on the new facility in early September,” said President and Chief Executive Officer of Tennessee State Bank Todd Proffitt. The branch was designed by McCarty, Hosaple & McCarty of Knoxville and is being constructed by D & S Builders of Sevierville.
“Our goal is to open this branch for our friends and customers in Kodak by early January, 2003,” said Proffitt.
Tennessee State Bank has grown over the past 30 years to its current asset size of $394 million; making it the largest locally owned community bank headquartered in Sevier County. TSB has branches in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Powell, Seymour, Sevierville and south Knoxville. “We will continue to expand our products, services and locations in an ongoing effort to serve our customers and communities,” said Proffitt.
