Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics (TOC) welcomes Michaels T. Casey, Jr., M.D. to the practice. He will see the patients at the TOC offices at Fort Sanders Regional medical Center’s Trustee’s Tower and at The Tower at Parkwest.
Dr. Casey, a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon, received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1994. He completed his sports medicine and knee reconstruction fellowship training at Unisports Sports Medicine Clinic/Eastwood Orthopaedic Clinic in Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Casey completed his orthopaedic residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Baylor Medical Center of Dallas, Texas Scottish Rite hospital, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Dallas Veterans Affairs medical Center, and Norfolk and Norwich Hospital in Norwich, United Kingdom.
Dr. Casey is an active member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Tennessee Medical Association, the Knoxville Academy of Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Casey, a native Knoxvillian currently resides in west Knoxville with his wife Karyn. She is working on her doctorate of nursing at the University of Tennessee.
