Bradley, Sherril Glenn
April 23, 1931 – September 09, 2002. Funeral Home: Atchley Funeral Home Cemetery: Shiloh Cemetery. Sherrill Glenn Bradley, age 71 of Pigeon Forge went to be with the Lord at his home Monday, September 9, 2002 after a long battle with cancer. He was a member of the Elks Club and was retired from the City of Gatlinburg. Mr. Bradley owned a wrecker service and car lot for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Dicie Bradley and brother-in-law Jack Barth of Kentucky. Survivors include loving wife of 49 years Agnes Bradley, sons and daughters-in-law Jerry and Casey Bradley, Terry and Patty Bradley, Dan and Kay Bradley, and Jim and Pam Bradley, grandchildren Rayne and Sam Marsh, Eric and Sara, Sarah, Hannah, Madison, Drew, Joshua, Travis and Samantha, Gerald and Dana, Rachel, Isaac Bradley, Chris and Mandi Branch, and Jack Benson, great-grandchildren Chiane, Fox, and Ryele Marsh, and Baylie Bradley, sister and brother-in-law Freeda and Walt Hall of Gatlinburg, brother Chuck Bradley of Gatlinburg, sisters-in-law and husbands Shirley and Bill Mayes, Margaret and Willie Sturdivant, and Thelma and Paschall Martin of Kentucky, brothers-in-law and wives Bill and Ramona Barth, and David and Pat Barth, of Kentucky, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held 2 p.m. Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Martin and Rev. Bill Mapels officiating. Interment followed in Shiloh Cemetery. The family received friends from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and 12-2 p.m. Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Frazier, Rebecca Ann (Becky)
February 01, 1965 – September 09, 2002. Funeral Home: Atchley Funeral Home. Rebecca Ann (Becky) Frazier age 37 of Sevierville went to be with the Lord Monday, September 9, 2002 , after a long battle with cancer. She was a member of New Hope Church of God and was preceded in death by her mother Betty Huggins. Becky was loved by many in return for the endless love and compassion she showed for others.
Survivors include husband Darryl Frazier, daughter Kristi Michelle Frazier, father Lloyd Huggins, brothers John and Jeffrey Huggins, and sister Linda Huggins. A memorial service was held 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at New Hope Church of God in Sevierville with Pastor Tom Sterbens officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to BB & T Bank to benefit Darryl and Becky’s daughter Kristi, for her college education. Arrangements were by Atchley Funeral Home.
Galyon, Larry Wayne
January 10, 1955 – September 13, 2002. Funeral Home: Atchley Funeral Home. Cemetery: Dupont Cemetery. Larry Wayne Galyon, age 47 of Seymour went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 13, 2002. Larry was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was and still is loved by many. Though we will dearly miss him, we know he now rests in peace in a much better place. He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah Ellen Berry Galyon Hicks and father Loyd Galyon. Survivors include
daughter and son-in-law Melissa Galyon-Bell and husband Dan Bell, son Jason Galyon, grandchildren Brandon, Jonathan, and Kristopher, sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Jeff Latham, brother Donnie Galyon, brother and sister-in-law Vernon and Pam Galyon, nieces Angela, Amy, Sarah, and Tammy, nephews Wayne and Joey, and numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Baptist Hospital and all caregivers for their services and many thoughts and prayers.
Funeral service was held 6 p.m. Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Little officiating. Family and friends met at 3 p.m. Sunday at Dupont Cemetery for interment. Harris, Ada Louise
Age 79 of Alcoa died Friday, September 13, 2002 at Maryville Healthcare Center. She was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church. She was retired from Sky Chef. She was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Harris, and her parents John & Mary Teffeteller. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Tommy & Bette Harris of Alcoa, and Gary R. Harris of Alcoa, and grandchildren Kimberly Harris and Lisa Harris. Funeral service was held at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2002 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Steve Streeter officiating. Family and friends assembled at
11:00 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2002 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the
interment. The family received friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday,
September 15, 2002, at Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville
