Jerry Curtis Garner
June 19, 1951 – August 22, 2002, age 51, of Sevierville died Thursday Sept. 22, 2002. He was the owner of Sevier Pump Sales. He was preceded in death by son, Sammy Garner mother, Lexie Garner Parton. Funeral Home: Atchley Funeral Home Cemetery: Alder Branch Cemetery. Survivors: Wife: Debbie Newman Garner. Daughter and Son-in-law: Christy and Chad Gibson. Grandson: Cole Gibson. Step Children: Sheila Newman and Nikki Newman. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Doc and Beatrice Garner, Archie and Kitty Garner, Johnny and Chris Garner, Rex and Nancy Garner, Lonnie and Colletta Garner, Dwayne and Sheila Garner and Michael Parton. Funeral services were 2p.m Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Helton and Rev. and Dan King officiating. Interment will follow in Alder Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Sevier County Bass Anglers Club. The family received friends from 6-9p.m. last Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.

McFee, Jr. Furman Bonnell “F.B.”
Age 86 of Alcoa died Friday, August 23, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from ALCOA and was a member of their 25-Year Club. He was also a member of McFee Clan Society of America, Genealogical Society of Old Tryon Co., Blount County Genealogical and Historical Society. Preceded in death by: Son, Kenneth Rhea McFee. Survivors include; wife, Ruby Payne McFee; son & daughter-in-law, Larry & Shirley McFee of Alcoa; 4 grandchildren, Debby McFee Page of Nashville, Mike McFee of Kenna, West Virginia, Chad McFee of Moreland, Georgia and Rick McFee of Malabar, Florida; sister, Wilda Large of Tampa, Florida. Family & friends assembled at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2002 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for graveside service & interment with Rev. Greg Kelly officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Central Baptist Church’s Building Fund. Ted Leon Reagan
Age 65 of Maryville died Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at the family home. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and attended Six Mile Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from United Cities Gas Co. Preceded in death by: Parents, Alfred & Frances Reagan. Survivors include: Devoted Companion, Peggy Williams Yates; Son and Daughter-in-law, Nathan & Sherri Reagan of Townsend; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Nancy & Jeff Cochran of Townsend, Nanette & Stacy Brewer of Townsend, and Tammy & Ernie Farmer of Tallassee; Grandchildren, DeWayne Cochran and Rebecca Cochran, Nikki Brewer, Brook Reagan, Nicholas, Logan and Benjamin Farmer ; Sisters, Lela Teaster and Della Teaster both of Wears Valley, Flossie Allison of Maryville; Special Nephew, Rick Trentham; Special Friend, Wilma Graves. Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Steele and Rev. Chris Worley officiating. William “Bill” Terry
Age 82 of Maryville died Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at Maryville Healthcare Center. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Wartburg, TN; American Legion Post 149 in Wartburg, TN; Veteran of the United States Army during World War II serving in the Pacific and Asia. Mr. Terry was an avid gunsmith. He retired from ALCOA after 43 years of service and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Proceeded in death by Parents, Carl and Ella Bridges Terry, four Brothers and one Sister. Survivors include Wife of 60 years, Katherine Kelly Terry; Brother, Clyde Terry of Knoxville; Sisters, Gertrude Redmon of Wartburg, Geneva Scott of Knoxville, Mescal McPeters of Wartburg; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Helen and Jesse Kirby of Powell, Mary Martha and Bob Herd of Morristown. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2002 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Dr. Bob Brown officiating. Entombment followed at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Family received friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. last Friday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville.
