Students saw some of the teens popping pills in the school bathroom. According to the school system’s Alisa Teffeteller, “They told the teacher what they’d seen in the restroom and then reported it to the principal.” The principal called the Blount County Sheriff’s Office. Possession of any illegal drug is a violation of Blount County’s drug free school policy. Even a student’s prescription drugs must be locked in the school’s office.
