Learn how to become a frog-monitoring volunteer for the Tennessee Amphibian Monitoring Program (TAMP). This program is designed to introduce you to the toads and frogs of Tennessee. There will be a slide presentation, accompanied by an audio segment, to help you learn what the local species look and sound like. Then take a naturalist-led stroll on the grounds of Ijams to test out your newfound knowledge. After you’ve completed the program, you’ll be armed with all the information you need to participate in the TAMP monitoring program. This program is free and is open to adults and children 10+ years. Call (865) 577-4717 ext.11 to pre-register.
