According to HEPACO, Inc. whatever caused several Public Works employees to become ill on March 26, 2002, could not be determined. HEPACO stated that no unusual containers or odors were found in the contents of the garbage truck and that all test results at the site were negative.
HEPACO advised that the trash posed no hazard and it was subsequently disposed in the landfill.
