Golda Bernice Cusick, age 83 of Seymour, Tennessee died at Asbury Acres Center in Maryville , TN on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband O.W. (Booge) Cusick and infant son; parents Pink and Hester Gibson; brothers Roy. R.J., and Kim Gibson; sisters Ruth Todd, Fairy Green and Aileen Gibson.
Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Mary Hester and William R. Fox of Starkville, MS. Grandsons and spouses: Robert and Janet Fox of Lincoln, NE, Andrew and Nancy Fox of Starkville, MS, Gibson and Julia Fox of Tuscaloosa, AL, Great-granddaughter: Jillian Hester of Tuscaloosa, AL
Great-grandsons: William and Shawn of Lincoln, NE, George Andrew of Starkville, MS, Brother: Edgar Gibson. Sisters: Sylvia Boling, Thelma Lewelling, Ernestine Allen, Doris Berrier. Several nieces and nephews
Funeral service were in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie White and Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating. Interment was in Knob Creek Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons and nephews Dennis Berrier, Steve Allen, Brian Gamble, Donald Rogers and special friend Deputy David Lamon. Honorary pallbearers were her great-grandsons and Dr. Michael Bernard, Ben, Al and Brent Cusick.
